Virginia High School Basketball - Quantico nips King Abdullah Academy
December 15, 2022: Herndon, VA 20171 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Quantico Warriors (Quantico, VA) and the host King Abdullah Academy Falcons (Herndon, VA), saw Quantico's basketball squad hold off King Abdullah Academy by a tally of 26-25.
With the victory, Quantico improves its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Warriors host St. Michael the Archangel (Fredericksburg, VA) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 19. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. St. Michael the Archangel won 37-31 in their recent non-league challenge against The New Community School (Richmond, VA)
Next up, the Falcons play the Wakefield Fighting Owls (The Plains, VA) in a Greater Piedmont challenge, on Friday, December 16. King Abdullah Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Fighting Owls come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 57-14 non-league win over King Abdullah Academy (Herndon, VA).
