December 15, 2022: Sheridan, OR 97378 The Sheridan Spartans (Sheridan, OR) basketball knocked off the visiting Santiam Wolverines (Mill City, OR), 39-21 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Spartans (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Oakridge (Oakridge, OR). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Oakridge went down by Lakeview (Lakeview, OR), 55-27, in a non-league test.
The Wolverines now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Kennedy for a 2A Tri-River test on Wednesday, January 4. Santiam will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 46-19 non-league loss to East Linn Christian Academy (Lebanon, OR). The Trojans record now stands at 1-3.
