Illinois High School Basketball - St. Thomas More tops Prairie Central
December 15, 2022: Champaign, IL 61822 St. Thomas More Sabers (Champaign, IL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Prairie Central Hawks (Fairbury, IL), 29-18 in a league bout.
With the victory, St. Thomas More upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Sabers host Sullivan (Sullivan, IL) to play the Redskins in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 5. The Redskins come into the bout with a record of 3-1. Sullivan won 35-20 in their recent non-league bout against Salem (Salem, IL)
Next up, the Hawks play the Rantoul Eagles (Rantoul, IL) in a bout, on Thursday, January 5. Prairie Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
