Mohave Thunderbirds (Bullhead City, AZ) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Agua Fria Owls (Avondale, AZ), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Thunderbirds face the Coconino Panthers (Flagstaff, AZ) in a 4A Grand Canyon challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Mohave will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record.

The Owls now have a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Poston Butte for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 11.
