Nebraska High School Basketball - Alliance can't hold off Mitchell

December 15, 2023: Alliance, NE 69301

The Mitchell Tigers basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Alliance Bulldogs to 49 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Morrill for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. Mitchell will play a Lions squad coming off a 61-18 non-league win over Edgemont (Edgemont, SD). The Lions record now stands at 4-2.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Sidney Red Raiders (Sidney, NE) in a C1 District 12 bout, on Saturday, December 16. Alliance will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Red Raiders come into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 59-39 non-league win over Torrington (Torrington, WY).
