Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Joaquin Rams (Joaquin, TX) and the visiting Big Sandy Wildcats (Big Sandy, TX), saw Joaquin's basketball squad knock off Big Sandy by a count of 68-50.

With the victory, Joaquin upgrades its record to 6-11 on the campaign. The Rams host Garrison (Garrison, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 2A Region III District 23 challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Garrison lost 44-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Spring Hill (Longview, TX)
