New York High School Basketball - Jefferson nudges Bishop Loughlin
December 15, 2023: Brooklyn, NY 11238 Jefferson Orange Wave (Brooklyn, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Bishop Loughlin Lions (Brooklyn, NY), 62-58 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Jefferson upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Orange Wave travel to South Shore (Brooklyn, NY) to clash with the Vikings in a PSAL AAAA Brooklyn/Staten Island II bout on Saturday, December 16. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 4-2. South Shore won 68-37 in their recent league bout against Canarsie (Brooklyn, NY)
Next up, the Lions clash with the Holy Cross Knights (Flushing, NY) in a Catholic AA - Brooklyn/Queens bout, on Sunday, December 17. Bishop Loughlin will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 76-39 league loss to Archbishop Stepinac (White Plains, NY).
