Illinois High School Basketball - Bogan knocked off by Evergreen Park
December 15, 2023: Evergreen Park, IL 60805 The Evergreen Park Mustangs basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Bogan Bengals to 57 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hinsdale South for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19. Evergreen Park will meet a Hornets team coming off a 53-51 non-league loss to Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 5-6.
The Bengals (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Kennedy (Chicago, IL). The Crusaders enter the Chicago Public - White Central contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Kennedy was outscored by Blue Island Eisenhower (Blue Island, IL), 82-47, in a non-league contest.
