The Bucktail Bucks basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Sullivan County Griffins to 54 in the Bucks league triumph on Friday.

The Bucks now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Williamsport for a Midd-Penn contest on Tuesday, December 19. Bucktail will battle a Mountaineers team coming off a 65-52 non-league loss to Midd-West (Middleburg, PA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 1-3.

The Griffins (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Canton (Canton, PA). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Canton was nudged by Northeast Bradford (Rome, PA), 57-50, in a league contest.
