Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Burlington Seahorses (Burlington, VT) and the host Montpelier Solons (Montpelier, VT), saw Burlington's basketball squad overcome Montpelier by a tally of 83-75.

With the victory, Burlington improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Seahorses host South Burlington (South Burlington, VT) to confront the Wolves in a Metro challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. South Burlington won 61-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Burr & Burton (Manchester, VT)

Next up, the Solons confront the Lamoille Lancers (Hyde Park, VT) in a Capital challenge, on Wednesday, December 20. Montpelier will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
