Minnesota High School Basketball - Murray County Central nips Canby
December 15, 2023: Slayton, MN 56172 Murray County Central Rebels (Slayton, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Canby Lancers (Canby, MN), 61-60 in a league bout.
With the win, Murray County Central upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Rebels travel to Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda (Okabena, MN) to play the Coyotes in a A Section 3 bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Coyotes go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda won 63-42 in their recent non-league bout against Lakeview (Cottonwood, MN)
Next up, the Lancers play the Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Panthers (Tracy, MN) in a A Section 3 bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Canby will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 69-46 league win over Red Rock Central (Lamberton, MN).
