Louisiana High School Basketball - Pineville nips Captain Shreve
December 15, 2023: Shreveport, LA 71105 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Pineville Rebels (Pineville, LA) and the host Captain Shreve Gators (Shreveport, LA), saw Pineville's basketball squad hold off Captain Shreve by a count of 45-42.
With the victory, Pineville upgrades its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Sterlington (Sterlington, LA) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 8-4. Sterlington won 56-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Castor (Castor, LA)
Next up, the Gators play the Peabody Warhorses (Alexandria, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 16. Captain Shreve will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Warhorses come into the challenge with a 9-1 record after their 77-38 non-league win over Evangel Christian Academy (Shreveport, LA).
