Alabama High School Basketball - Huntsville holds off Central
December 15, 2023: Huntsville, AL 35801 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Huntsville Panthers (Huntsville, AL) and the visiting Central Red Devils (Phenix City, AL), saw Huntsville's basketball squad hold off Central by a tally of 55-54.
With the victory, Huntsville improves its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Clay-Chalkville (Pinson, AL) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 20. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. Clay-Chalkville won 68-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Center Point (Birmingham, AL)
Next up, the Red Devils confront the Huffman Vikings (Birmingham, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 16. Central will attempt to improve on its 12-3 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 57-54 non-league win over Shades Valley (Birmingham, AL).
