Kansas High School Basketball - Classical holds off Cunningham
December 15, 2023: Wichita, KS 67218 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Classical Saints (Wichita, KS) and the visiting Cunningham Wildcats (Cunningham, KS), saw Classical's basketball squad hold off Cunningham by a tally of 69-64.
With the victory, Classical improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Saints host Flinthills (Rosalia, KS) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 2-4.
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Macksville Mustangs (Macksville, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Cunningham will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 50-45 non-league win over Stafford (Stafford, KS).
