December 15, 2023: Cotulla, TX 78014 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Three Rivers Bulldogs (Three Rivers, TX) and the host Cotulla Cowboys (Cotulla, TX), saw Three Rivers's basketball squad knock off Cotulla by a count of 53-33.
With the victory, Three Rivers upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Port Aransas (Port Aransas, TX) to play the Marlins in a 2A Region IV District 31 challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Marlins come into the challenge with a record of 10-7. Port Aransas lost 51-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Incarnate Word Academy (Corpus Christi, TX)
Next up, the Cowboys play the Poteet Aggies (Poteet, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Cotulla will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Aggies come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 48-41 non-league win over McMullen County (Tilden, TX).
