Indiana High School Basketball - Tri thwarts Cowan

The Tri Titans (Straughn, IN) basketball knocked off the host Cowan Blackhawks (Muncie, IN), 69-59 in Friday's non-league test.

The Titans (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Union City (Union City, IN). The Indians go into the Tri-Eastern test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Union City notched a victory over Knightstown (Knightstown, IN), 62-37, in a league test.

The Blackhawks now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Eastern for a non-league test on Saturday, December 16. Cowan will encounter a Comets squad coming off a 64-57 league win over Sheridan (Sheridan, IN). The Comets record now stands at 3-4.
