Louisiana High School Basketball - Eleanor McMain nips Walker
December 15, 2023: Walker, LA 70785 Eleanor McMain Mustangs (New Orleans, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Walker Wildcats (Walker, LA), 68-63 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Eleanor McMain upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Gainesville (Gainesville, FL) to play the Hurricanes in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Gainesville lost 60-53 in their recent non-league bout against Vanguard (Ocala, FL)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Capitol Lions (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Walker will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 74-49 non-league win over Glen Oaks (Baton Rouge, LA).
