Oklahoma High School Basketball - Garber nips Tonkawa
December 15, 2023: Tonkawa, OK 74653 Garber Wolverines (Garber, OK) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Tonkawa Buccaneers (Tonkawa, OK), 83-80 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Garber upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Waukomis (Waukomis, OK) to play the Chiefs in a Skeltur bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Chiefs come into the bout with a record of 5-2. Waukomis won 85-25 in their recent non-league bout against Cimarron (Lahoma, OK)
Next up, the Buccaneers play the Okarche Warriors (Okarche, OK) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Tonkawa will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 97-32 league win over Watonga (Watonga, OK).
