Alabama High School Basketball - Headland can't hold off Geneva County
December 15, 2023: Hartford, AL 36344 The Geneva County Bulldogs basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Headland Rams to 47 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blountstown for a non-league contest on Monday, December 18. Geneva County will battle a Tigers team coming off a 43-41 league loss to Sneads (Sneads, FL). The Tigers record now stands at 3-1.
The Rams (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Abbeville (Abbeville, AL). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Abbeville was nudged by Randolph-Clay (Cuthbert, GA), 53-46, in a non-league contest.
