The South Lakes Seahawks (Reston, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Herndon Hornets (Herndon, VA), 80-38 in Friday's non-league test.

The Seahawks (7-0) will now prepare for their test against Patriot (Nokesville, VA). The Pioneers go into the non-league test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Patriot was trounced by Grace Brethren Christian (Clinton, MD), 59-58, in a non-league test.

The Hornets now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Langley for a District 2 test on Monday, December 18. Herndon will encounter a Saxons squad coming off a 50-41 non-league win over Robinson (Fairfax, VA). The Saxons record now stands at 2-3.
