Oregon High School Basketball - Thurston can't hold off Wells
December 15, 2023: Portland, OR 97219 The Wells Guardians basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Thurston Colts to 72 in the Guardians non-league triumph on Friday.
The Guardians now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jesuit for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19. Wells will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 81-45 non-league win over Ridgeview (Redmond, OR). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-2.
The Colts (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Marist (Eugene, OR). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Marist held off Cottage Grove (Cottage Grove, OR), 65-41, in a non-league bout.
