December 15, 2023: Memphis, TN 38117 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Independence Eagles (Thompson's Station, TN) and the host White Station Spartans (Memphis, TN), saw Independence's basketball squad overcome White Station by a tally of 67-57.
With the victory, Independence improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Christian Brothers (Memphis, TN) to confront the Purple Wave in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Purple Wave come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Christian Brothers won 73-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Lausanne Collegiate (Memphis, TN)
Next up, the Spartans confront the Ridgeway Roadrunners (Memphis, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. White Station will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record.
