Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Yorkville Christian Mustangs (Yorkville, IL), 62-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lincoln-Way Central upgrades its record to 3-7 on the season. The Knights travel to DePaul College Prep (Chicago, IL) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 11-0. DePaul College Prep won 40-27 in their recent non-league bout against Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Rockford Auburn Knights (Rockford, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Yorkville Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 76-36 league win over Harlem (Machesney Park, IL).
