December 15, 2023: Lyndon Center, VT 05850 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Missisquoi Valley Thunderbirds (Swanton, VT) and the host Lyndon Institute Vikings (Lyndon Center, VT), saw Missisquoi Valley's basketball squad hold off Lyndon Institute by a tally of 37-34.
With the victory, Missisquoi Valley improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host Harwood (Moretown, VT) to confront the Highlanders in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 20. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Harwood lost 58-56 in their recent league challenge against U-32 (Montpelier, VT)
Next up, the Vikings confront the Spaulding Crimson Tide (Barre, VT) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 20. Lyndon Institute will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
