Pennsylvania High School Basketball - McConnellsburg fells Southern Huntingdon County
December 15, 2023: McConnellsburg, PA 17233 McConnellsburg Spartans (McConnellsburg, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Southern Huntingdon County Rockets (Three Springs, PA), 57-45 in a non-league bout.
With the win, McConnellsburg upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Spartans host North Star (Boswell, PA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Monday, December 18. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 3-1. North Star lost 66-29 in their recent league bout against Berlin Brothersvalley (Berlin, PA)
Next up, the Rockets play the Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels (Houtzdale, PA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 18. Southern Huntingdon County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Black Knights/Damsels go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 51-45 league loss to Glendale (Flinton, PA).
