Michigan High School Basketball - Pinckney tops Midland
December 15, 2023: Pinckney, MI 48169 Pinckney Pirates (Pinckney, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Midland Chemics (Midland, MI), 64-48 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Pinckney upgrades its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Lincoln (Ypsilanti, MI) to play the Railsplitters in a Southeastern - White bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Railsplitters come into the bout with a record of 5-1. Lincoln won 56-47 in their recent non-league bout against Wayne Memorial (Wayne, MI)
Next up, the Chemics play the Dow Chargers (Midland, MI) in a Saginaw Valley bout, on Wednesday, December 20. Midland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Chargers come into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 66-58 non-league loss to Swartz Creek (Swartz Creek, MI).
