Kansas High School Basketball - Olathe West nips Mill Valley
December 15, 2023: Olathe, KS 66061 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Olathe West Owls (Olathe, KS) and the visiting Mill Valley Jaguars (Shawnee, KS), saw Olathe West's basketball squad hold off Mill Valley by a count of 66-60.
With the victory, Olathe West upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Owls host Shawnee Mission South (Shawnee Mission, KS) to play the Raiders in a Sunflower challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Shawnee Mission South won 61-54 in their recent league challenge against Olathe Northwest (Olathe, KS)
Next up, the Jaguars play the Olathe South Falcons (Olathe, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Mill Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 70-60 non-league win over Shawnee Mission North (Shawnee Mission, KS).
