Oregon High School Basketball - Yoncalla ripped by Monroe
December 15, 2023: Monroe, OR 97456 The Monroe Dragons basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Yoncalla Eagles to 17 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Friday.
The Dragons now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Illinois Valley for a 2A Valley Coast contest on Saturday, December 16. Monroe will meet a Cougars team coming off a 68-60 non-league win over North Valley (Grants Pass, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 5-1.
The Eagles (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Monroe (Monroe, OR). The Dragons enter the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Monroe triumphed over Yoncalla (Yoncalla, OR), 60-17, in a non-league contest.
