Louisiana High School Basketball - Mt. Hermon tipped by Varnado
December 15, 2023: Angie, LA 70426 The Varnado Wildcats basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Mt. Hermon Yellowjackets to 53 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sumner for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 21. Varnado will meet a Cowboys team coming off a 57-44 non-league win over Independence (Independence, LA). The Cowboys record now stands at 5-12.
The Yellowjackets (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Holden (Holden, LA). The Rockets enter the B District 7 contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Holden nudged Simpson (Simpson, LA), 50-48, in a non-league contest.
