December 15, 2023: Anchorage, AK 99517 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the West Anchorage Eagles (Anchorage, AK) and the visiting Nome-Beltz Nanooks (Nome, AK), saw West Anchorage's basketball squad wallop Nome-Beltz by a tally of 80-51.
With the victory, West Anchorage improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Ridgeline (Liberty Lake, WA) to play the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Ridgeline won 68-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Bartlett (Anchorage, AK)
Next up, the Nanooks play the Lathrop Malemutes (Fairbanks, AK) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 16. Nome-Beltz will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Malemutes come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 67-48 non-league loss to Wasilla (Wasilla, AK).
