Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Northeast Lauderdale Trojans (Meridian, MS) and the host South Jones Braves (Ellisville, MS), saw Northeast Lauderdale's basketball squad hold off South Jones by a tally of 62-57.

With the victory, Northeast Lauderdale improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Morton (Morton, MS) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Morton lost 61-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Florence (Florence, MS)
