In Friday's non-league outing, the Northern Valley Huskies (Almena, KS) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Thunder Ridge Longhorns (Kensington, KS), by a count of 62-29.

The Huskies (6-0) will now prepare for their outing against Arapahoe (Arapahoe, NE). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Arapahoe smashed Southwest (Bartley, NE), 51-34, in a non-league outing.
