The Petersburg Vikings basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting South Harrison Hawks to 36 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Frankfort for a Potomac Valley AA contest on Tuesday, December 19. Petersburg will meet a Falcons team coming off a 52-45 non-league loss to Fort Hill (Cumberland, MD). The Falcons record now stands at 2-1.

The Hawks (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Doddridge County (West Union, WV). The Bulldogs enter the Little Kanawha - East contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Doddridge County triumphed over Gilmer County (Glenville, WV), 100-54, in a league contest.
