California High School Basketball - Yreka crushes Pierce
December 15, 2023: Yreka, CA 96097 Yreka Miners (Yreka, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pierce Bears (Arbuckle, CA), 67-43 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Yreka upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Miners travel to Western Sierra Collegiate Academy (Rocklin, CA) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 8-1. Western Sierra Collegiate Academy won 82-27 in their recent non-league bout against Williams (Williams, CA)
Next up, the Bears play the Williams Yellowjackets (Williams, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Pierce will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a 3-11 record after their 82-27 non-league loss to Western Sierra Collegiate Academy (Rocklin, CA).
