Windward Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Venice Gondoliers (Los Angeles, CA), 85-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Windward upgrades its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Salesian College Preparatory (Richmond, CA) to play the Pride in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Pride come into the bout with a record of 9-0.

Next up, the Gondoliers play the Crenshaw Cougars (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Venice will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 72-45 league win over Dorsey (Los Angeles, CA).
