Virginia High School Basketball - Wakefield nudges Alexandria City
December 15, 2023: Arlington, VA 22206 Wakefield Warriors (Arlington, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Alexandria City Titans (Alexandria, VA), 51-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Wakefield upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to Westfield (Chantilly, VA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, December 18. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Westfield won 51-30 in their recent non-league bout against Fairfax (Fairfax, VA)
Next up, the Titans clash with the Fairfax Lions (Fairfax, VA) in a bout, on Monday, December 18. Alexandria City will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 78-16 non-league win over Annandale (Annandale, VA).
