California High School Basketball - Palma crushes St. Francis
December 15, 2023: Watsonville, CA 95076 Palma Chieftains (Salinas, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host St. Francis Sharks (Watsonville, CA), 56-13 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Palma upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Chieftains travel to Half Moon Bay (Half Moon Bay, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Half Moon Bay lost 63-14 in their recent non-league bout against Salesian College Preparatory (Richmond, CA)
Next up, the Sharks play the Soquel Knights (Soquel, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. St. Francis will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 4-2 record after their 61-34 non-league loss to Palma (Salinas, CA).
