The Haynes Academy basketball team scored 36 points and held the host Academy of Our Lady Penguins to 33 in the non-league triumph on Friday.

The now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host E.D. White for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19. Haynes Academy will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 49-28 non-league win over Central Catholic (Morgan City, LA). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-3.

The Penguins (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Chalmette (Chalmette, LA). The Owls enter the non-league contest with a 9-4 record.
