December 15, 2023: Alcoa, TN 37701 The Alcoa Tornadoes (Alcoa, TN) basketball knocked off the visiting Webb Spartans (Knoxville, TN), 51-42 in Friday's non-league test.
The Tornadoes (3-2) will now prepare for their test against A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC). The Rockets go into the non-league test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, A.C. Reynolds notched a victory over Hardin Valley Academy (Knoxville, TN), 58-43, in a non-league test.
The Spartans now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hardin Valley Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, December 16. Webb will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 58-43 non-league loss to A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 5-2.
