Georgia High School Basketball - Apalachee overwhelms M.L. King
December 15, 2023: Winder, GA 30680 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Apalachee Wildcats (Winder, GA) and the visiting M.L. King Lions (Lithonia, GA), saw Apalachee's basketball squad wallop M.L. King by a count of 72-8.
With the victory, Apalachee upgrades its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats host East Jackson (Commerce, GA) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 20. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. East Jackson won 32-18 in their recent non-league challenge against West Hall (Oakwood, GA)
Next up, the Lions play the Social Circle Redskins (Social Circle, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 16. M.L. King will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record.
