The Valley Vikings (Gilcrest, CO) basketball nipped the visiting Brush Beetdiggers (Brush, CO), 32-30 in Friday's non-league test.

The Vikings (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Sterling (Sterling, CO). The Tigers go into the 4A Patriot test with a 2-3 record.

The Beetdiggers now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Fort Morgan for a non-league test on Saturday, December 16. Brush will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 66-20 league loss to Mountain View (Loveland, CO). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-6.
