Texas High School Basketball - Second Baptist overwhelmed by Bryan
December 15, 2023: Houston, TX 77057 The Bryan Vikings basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the host Second Baptist Eagles to 47 in the Vikings non-league victory on Friday.
The Vikings now sport a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Weiss for a 6A Region II District 12 contest on Tuesday, December 19. Bryan will battle a Wolves team coming off a 44-22 league loss to Copperas Cove (Copperas Cove, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 0-18.
The Eagles (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Columbus (Columbus, TX). The Cardinals come into the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Columbus triumphed over Yoakum (Yoakum, TX), 28-26, in a league contest.
