Mira Costa Mustangs (Manhattan Beach, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Cypress Centurions (Cypress, CA), 69-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mira Costa upgrades its record to 10-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos, CA) to clash with the Griffins in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Griffins go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Los Alamitos won 74-32 in their recent non-league bout against Fountain Valley (Fountain Valley, CA)

Next up, the Centurions clash with the Yorba Linda Mustangs (Yorba Linda, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 22. Cypress will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 59-51 non-league loss to Oak Hills (Hesperia, CA).
