Connecticut High School Basketball - Portland ripped by East Granby
December 15, 2023: East Granby, CT 06026 The East Granby Crusaders basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Portland Highlanders to 16 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Friday.
The Crusaders now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Classical Magnet for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19. East Granby will battle a Gladiators team coming off a 41-28 non-league win over Achievement First (Hartford, CT). The Gladiators record now stands at 1-1.
The Highlanders (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT). The Blue Devils enter the Shoreline contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Coginchaug Regional triumphed over Westbrook (Westbrook, CT), 50-30, in a league contest.
