Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC), 72-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mount Pleasant upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Tigers host Sun Valley (Monroe, NC) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Sun Valley lost 51-43 in their recent non-league bout against Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC)

Next up, the Yellow Jackets clash with the North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 18. Forest Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Comets go into the bout with a 11-0 record after their 48-29 non-league win over South Rowan (China Grove, NC).
