Glastonbury Guardians (Glastonbury, CT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Windsor Warriors (Windsor, CT), 53-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Glastonbury upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Guardians travel to Trumbull (Trumbull, CT) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Trumbull won 51-40 in their recent non-league bout against New Milford (New Milford, CT)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Southington Blue Knights (Southington, CT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Windsor will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Blue Knights go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 44-32 non-league loss to Conard (West Hartford, CT).
