The Normangee Panthers basketball team scored 39 points and held the host Groveton Indians to 34 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elkhart for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29.

The Indians (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Slocum (Elkhart, TX). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, Slocum nudged Wells (Wells, TX), 76-29, in a league contest.
