Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Holmes County Central Jaguars (Lexington, MS) and the host North Panola Cougars (Sardis, MS), saw Holmes County Central's basketball squad wallop North Panola by a tally of 59-30.

With the victory, Holmes County Central improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Houston (Germantown, TN) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 7-3. Houston won 60-37 in their recent league challenge against Arlington (Arlington, TN)

Next up, the Cougars confront the Booneville Blue Devils (Booneville, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 28. North Panola will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record.
