Oregon High School Basketball - Jefferson tops Salem Academy
December 15, 2023: Jefferson, OR 97352 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Jefferson Lions (Jefferson, OR) and the visiting Salem Academy Crusaders (Salem, OR), saw Jefferson's basketball squad knock off Salem Academy by a tally of 57-37.
With the victory, Jefferson improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Colton (Colton, OR) to play the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 18. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Colton won 53-14 in their recent non-league challenge against Columbia Christian (Portland, OR)
Next up, the Crusaders play the Amity Warriors (Amity, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 20. Salem Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 55-21 non-league win over Harrisburg (Harrisburg, OR).
