Connecticut High School Basketball - Oxford overwhelms Kennedy
December 15, 2023: Oxford, CT 06478 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Oxford Wolverines (Oxford, CT) and the visiting Kennedy Eagles (Waterbury, CT), saw Oxford's basketball squad wallop Kennedy by a count of 67-31.
With the victory, Oxford upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to St. Paul Catholic (Bristol, CT) to play the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 2-0.
Next up, the Eagles play the Derby Red Raiders (Derby, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley - Brass challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Kennedy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 60-16 non-league loss to Torrington (Torrington, CT).
